Today marks the day I went a week without meat.
On my idealistic journey to cut all types of meat out of my diet, I’ve realized how hard it is to use the “cold turkey” method. I crave meat so much, but I am not giving up.
I am definitely shooting for one month next. Overall the worst thing is everyone’s reaction to this choice, it is after all my diet not theirs. Truthfully, if I was the one eating meat I would probably react the same way. I hate school lunches now due to the fact they hardly have anything I can eat, and on pizza day, there is always no cheese pizza left when it’s my only not-pb&j option out of the whole week.
